Cardiff City
At the close of the 2006–07 Championship season, Ramsey earned his Cardiff City debut after working his way through the development system. He was the club’s youngest player ever, having only turned 16 years old. The next season, Ramsey played in his first league game, a 2-1 triumph over Burnley at home. A short while later, he started the Premier League season for the first time, helping his team defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-1. When Ramsey tied the score in the FA Cup third round against West Ham United in the 78th minute, it was a significant achievement for him early in 2010.
