After a prolonged wait, Song Kang returns in the role of Cha Hyun-soo for the much-anticipated Sweet Home Season 2. In the aftermath of the initial season’s events, time has passed, and the chaos that initially engulfed the tenant building has now escalated into a global catastrophe.

The K-drama’s first season was centered on Hyun-soo following his family’s passing and his relocation to a new building. The world turns into a horrific place where people’s inner urges drive them to become vicious monsters over night. As the tenants strive to endure, Hyun-soo confronts his personal struggles. Despite having all of their abilities, he is still human.

Hyun-soo faced up against K-drama antagonist Jung Ui-myeong (Kim Sung-cheol) in the first season finale. He demonstrated the same skills as Hyun-soo. The occupants engage in a fierce struggle that ends with Ui-myeong’s purported death as they attempt to flee the building for their last hope of life.

The authorities showed in at the conclusion of the K-drama, took the tenants, and circled Hyun-soo. However, Sweet Home ended abruptly when it was discovered that Ui-myeong had transformed into Pyeon Sang-Wook (Lee Jin-uk) through the usage of his abilities. Sweet Home Season 2: When is the release date?

Netflix has announced Sweet Home Season 2 will premiere all episodes on December 1, 2023.

Fans of Sweet Home will be able to watch the new season in time for the holidays, following months without any official notice. With only ten episodes in the first season, the exact number of episodes is yet unknown. It is conceivable that the number will remain the same or maybe increase to one or two in the second season. But with Season 3 already planned, the creators might not be in a rush.
