Key Responsibilities
Selected teachers will be appointed to Adult Literacy Centres (ALCs) under different categories, including:
- General Literacy
- Health
- Agriculture
- Livestock
- Prison
- Fisheries
- Mines & Minerals
Teachers will be responsible for the following:

- Arranging a suitable room for the Adult Literacy Centre in collaboration with the Literacy Mobilizer.
- Registering 25 to 30 illiterate learners (16 years or older) on the NFEMIS portal in coordination with the concerned Literacy Mobilizer.
- Delivering quality education to the learners during the six-month contractual period.
Contract Details
- Type: Part-time, time-bound, honorary, and contract-based
- Duration: Six months (non-extendable)
- Location: Within the candidate’s district, tehsil, or union council of permanent residence
