HONOLULU— Hawaii defeated Northern Arizona 70-61 on Tuesday night, led by 13 points from JoVon McClanahan.
McClanahan enhanced the Rainbow Warriors’ (3-0) total with five assists. In addition to pulling down seven rebounds, Justin McKoy scored 11 points on 5 of 11 shots, including 0 of 4 from beyond the arc. Matthue Cotton finished with 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting (2 for 5 from 3-point range).
Trenton McLaughlin led the Lumberjacks (2-4) with 14 points and two steals. North Arizona’s Jayden Jackson scored an additional 13 points. Oakland Fort also ended with two steals and ten points.
