Take-two ignites GTA 6 release rumours follow a significant 2024 forecast.

After making some significant forecasts for the upcoming year, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has prompted further GTA 6 release rumours.

During their Q1 2024 earnings call on August 8, Take-Two reaffirmed that work on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game was “well underway.”

Even while GTA 6 hasn’t been formally confirmed, there have been rumours that Rockstar Games plans to release the game in 2024, which would be consistent with Take-Two’s forecasts.

The business believes that its pipeline for 2024 and 2025 will be the best in company history, and management made some significant projections for these years on the results call.

The 2024 forecast fueled rumours about the debut of GTA 6.
Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, exaggerated the company’s progress by expecting “new record levels of operating performance” in 2024.

Interestingly, Take-Two had previously used the phrase “new standards in our industry” to describe GTA VI, and Zelnick had earlier predicted that fiscal 2025 would do the same.

“We continue to believe we are positioning our business for a significant inflection point in fiscal 2025,” the CEO said.

For fiscal year 2024, the corporation anticipates net bookings of $5.45 to $5.55 billion, so we could soon hear some long-awaited GTA 6 news.

The world got its first look at Grand Theft Auto 6 last year thanks to leaked gameplay footage, which revealed Vice City’s return, a female protagonist, and other gameplay improvements over GTA 5. Unfortunately, Rockstar’s popular series’ fans are still eagerly awaiting a formal unveiling of the upcoming entry.

In the meantime, fans will be able to check out a “new conversion” of Red Dead Redemption on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, but no doubt about it, all eyes remain transfixed on an official GTA 6 announcement.
