The preliminary swimsuit and evening gown rounds of the Miss Universe 2023 pageant have already taken place in El Salvador; nevertheless, the Top 20 finalists will be announced tonight, and Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the conclusion of the evening.

This year’s pageant will feature contestants from eighty-four nations and territories, with numerous firsts expected as the pageant grows in diversity. Miss Universe is allowing married and child-bearing women to participate for the first time ever. There will also be a plus-size model and two transgender ladies competing.
