The movie’s co-writer and director, Greta Gerwig, celebrated her birthday over the weekend by seeing her work absolutely defy box office expectations and participating in a cute flash mob with a Barbie theme.
Gerwig’s birthday including dancing Ken and a billion dollars
Because Ryan Gosling’s rendition of “I’m Just Ken,” which was made famous by Barbie, is one of the best earworms ever, everyone’s favourite Ken decided to send a flash mob to Gerwig’s fitness centre as a birthday present.
Fans can see a group of Kens invade the exercise class that Gerwig is in and start dancing to Ryan Gosling’s song from the movie before a group of Barbies arrive to dance to Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night Away” in a video released to the Barbie movie’s Instagram.
