Physical 100, the popular competition series on Netflix, is coming back with a new cast and concept. An official release date has also been announced.
Netflix achieved popularity with its Korean competition/reality programs, putting aside K-dramas. Among them was Physical 100, a competition including top bodybuilders, athletes, and other competitors vying for championships. They competed for the title of finest physique as well as a financial award.
Greek mythology served as the topic for the inaugural season, which was named the winner last year. However, Physical 100 hinted that it was still searching for the greatest of the best. Netflix declared that Season 2 would debut in 2024.
Physical 100 Season 2 – Underground now has an official release date and a tease on who will take part in proving their muscles are more than just for show.
When is the release date for Physical 100 Season 2?
Netflix officially announced Physical: 100 Season 2 — Underground will release on March 19, 2024.
Fans will receive the newest chapter of Netflix Tudum earlier than anticipated, the company revealed. Early in 2023, the first season of the show debuted. Similar to the previous season, one participant will survive after 100 competitors compete in a series of physically taxing tasks.
Greek mythology dominated the inaugural season, which had victories influenced by the Flight of Icarus among other things. The setting for Physical 100 Season 2 will once again be an underground mine. Fear not—the tradition of a plaster bust featuring each competitor will continue in the upcoming season. They destroy them when they are removed.
However, who will compete in this event? “Kim Dong-hyun, the first Korean UFC fighter with the highest number of wins within Korea; Lee Won-hee, a gold medalist in judo; and Anthony Jung, a gold medalist in wrestling,” according to a Netflix announcement, are among the well-known athletes.
Not only that, but Physical 100 Season 2 will feature performers, actors, law enforcement, military personnel, even FBI diplomats. It’s obvious that the next season will have a more diverse group of participants with a wider range of professional experiences than the previous one.
We’ll make sure to update you as soon as we learn more about whether Season 2 of Netflix will have the same number of episodes and amount of money up for grabs.
