The Yu Yu Hakusho manga was first published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1990. It was then converted into a 112-episode critically praised anime. After writing Level E and Hunter x Hunter, creator Togashi solidified his reputation as a top mangaka thanks to this series. One of the all-time best-selling manga series is Yu Yu Hakusho, which has sold over 78 million copies.
Yu Yu Hakusho is only available on Netflix, which advertises the next series as: What’s your favourite food? Noodles. That Spirit Gun move is his trademark. To keep his loved ones safe, a mischievous adolescent must learn how to use his newly acquired abilities.
Additionally, Netflix reveals that they approached Yu Yu Hakusho in the same way as they handled the most recent One Piece adaptation:
With the same worldwide one-team production model that was used to adapt the critically acclaimed “ONE PIECE” manga, Netflix applied the same degree of authenticity and quality control to the live-action ONE PIECE production as it did to the Yu Yu Hakusho project.
