One Piece dispels a myth about Zoro.

It has been dispelled by the recently disclosed One Piece vivre cards that Zoro does not possess Conqueror’s Haki.

Fans of One Piece have always been curious about Zoro’s haki abilities. Many assumed that, being the second most powerful member of the Straw Hats Pirates, he would wield Conqueror’s Haki, a rare ability shared by just a select few individuals, akin to Silvers Rayleigh.

Finally, during the fight of Onigashima, the rumors ended. With his sword Enma, which belonged to Kozuki Oden, Zoro unleashed Conqueror’s Haki during his battle with King.

Fans thought the swordsman had Conqueror’s Haki, just like his commander and fellow Worst Generation members Law and Kid, after the duel. Zoro only had Armament and Observation Haki, though, as shown on his updated liveliness card.

Additionally, the card makes reference to the Onigashima incident by saying, “Zoro’s sword emitted a black flash during the battle at Onigashima.” Does he possess the attributes of a conqueror king?

This deftly refutes the idea that Zoro possesses all three forms of haki. It also suggests that he may eventually be able to access this power. Right now, we know for sure that Roronoa Zoro lacks Conqueror’s Haki.

If that’s the case, how did he use it against Onigashima, though? The Haki belonging to Enma rather than Zoro is the most likely scenario. It’s likely that part of Oden’s ki was trapped inside the sword until Zoro’s resolve during his battle with King let it go.

Right now, One Piece is in the final segment of the Egghead Arc. The much awaited Elbaf Arc, which is slated to be among the most significant for several Straw Hat members, will then begin in the manga.

Perhaps Zoro will be among them, at last living up to his full potential as the future King of Pirates’ right-hand man.
