As Haikyuu!!, the new film, gets ready for its worldwide theatrical release, The second installment of Season 4 debuted back in 2020. Will there thus be a Haikyuu? Season 5 coming soon?
Haruichi Furudate’s well-known sports manga series served as the inspiration for the Haikyuu!! anime. The narrative centers on Shoyo Hinata, a volleyball-mad high school girl. His height has always been a challenge for him, even with his agility and leaping ability.
But Shoyo encounters Tobio Kageyama, his erstwhile opponent, a brilliant setter who pulls out the best in him. In an attempt to emulate his hero, the Tiny Giant, he enlists in the Karasuno volleyball team.
Starting with a mediocre squad, Karasuno High School has advanced to the nationals, where they will take against stronger teams, through consistent preparation and perseverance. It’s one of the greatest anime shows out there, and while we’re happy to see a new film, we’ve been waiting four years for more episodes. Thus, why is Haikyuu not? Is Season 5 available yet?
Is Haikyuu!! renewed for Season 5?
Currently, there’s no confirmation for Haikyuu!! Season 5.
After the release of Season 4 Part 2, Haikyuu!! published The Dumpster Battle. Two sections of the finished film will be released. Karasuno vs. Nekoma is covered in the first section, while Karasuno vs. Kamonedai is covered in the second. Regarding the releasing date of the second Haikyuu!! movie, nothing is clear.
But the story doesn’t end with the nationals; there are still time-skip scenes, the Brazil arc, Oikawa’s triumphant return, and the present-day whereabouts of the main characters need to be worked into the narrative. Therefore, with the publication of the second film, we may still anticipate a fifth season.
According to Crunchyroll, the official Haikyuu!! summary is as follows: “Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime centered around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball, and it is based on the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate.” In his final year of middle school, Hinata formed a volleyball team after being inspired by a diminutive professional volleyball player.
“Unfortunately, the squad’s first tournament matchup is against Tobio Kageyama’s team, the “King of the Court,” and they will undoubtedly lose. Following the humiliating loss, Hinata promises to outperform Kageyama. When Hinata joins the volleyball team after starting high school, she discovers that Tobio has already joined.
