Mashle Season 2 Teaser Trailer and New Visual Released Before January Premiere

A new teaser trailer and key graphic for Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 (The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc) have been released in advance of the show’s January 2024 launch. The teaser features the opening theme music “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” by Creepy Nuts, and the animation for the program is being done by company A-1 Pictures, which is coming back. The character designs and voice cast for the Divine Visionaries were also announced and include:

  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kaldo Gehenna
  • Saori Hayami as Sophina Biblia
  • Kisho Taniyama as Renatus Revol

  • Agito Tyrone (no voice)

The first season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles ended in June after running for 12 episodes. The second season will cover the “Divine Visionary Selection Exam” arc, which runs in chapters 41–74 of the manga.

The voice cast for the Mashle anime adaptation includes:

  • Kaito Ishikawa as Lance Crown
  • Takuya Eguchi as Dot Barrett
  • Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames
  • Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine

Hajime Komoto writes and draws the Mashle manga, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. VIZ licensed it in English, and you can also read it on Manga Plus. They describe the story as:
This is a world of magic, where magic is used for everything. But deep in the forest exists a young man who spends his time training and bulking up. He can’t use magic, but he enjoys a peaceful life with his father. But one day, his life is put in danger! Will his muscular body protect him from the magic users who are out to get him? Powerfully trained muscles crush magic as this abnormal magical fantasy begins!
