The Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc release date hasn’t been announced yet. The earliest we’d expect the film would be 2025 at this point.

The team of the body horror anime may have been in for a year already as the first season concluded in December 2022, or maybe the decision to turn the series into a movie rather than a second one was made more recently. Some awkward scenes between Denji and Reze are teased, since they become romantically involved. A bit of mournful piano plays over the montage, framing their partnership in appropraitely tragic fashion. Don’t get too attached to this one, friends!
What will happen in the Chainsaw Man movie?
The Reze Arc, which centers on a Soviet spy named Reze who fused with the Bomb Devil and set out to kill Denji, is being adapted for the big screen in the Chainsaw Man film.The lady we see in the preview is Reze, and although though she tries to kill Denji, she becomes attached to him and finds it difficult to do so.
The 13-chapter Reze Arc is commonly referred to as the Bomb Girl Arc. That leaves three whole arcs (45 chapters) of the Public Safety Saga for the upcoming Chainsaw Man season, which is a reasonable amount of storyline for a feature-length production.
So far, the Chainsaw Man manga has been split into two parts: the Public Safety Saga and the still-ongoing Academy Saga. There’s plenty of ground to cover before the show catches up to the manga, but given the production value, it’s good for Studio MAPPA to pace themselves too. Not least because of the concerns around workload and crunch at the production house.
Is Chainsaw Man Season 2 happening?
The release date for Chainsaw Man Season 2 is still unknown.As of right now, the sole confirmed continuation of the first season is Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
There’s a chance that, along with Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, the Reze Arc will still appear in Chainsaw Man Season 2. Mugen Train was trimmed into episodes to create the first half of Demon Slayer Season 2 after the film became successful in theaters.
That’s simply conjecture for the time being, and Chainsaw Man Season 2 is not happening.

Although the exact release schedule for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is unknown, it is most likely to play in theaters before being made available on Crunchyroll.
