A fresh source claims that the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 unveiling is about to happen.
According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, the game will be shown “as early as this week.” A Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will then be released at some point in December, coinciding with Rockstar’s 25th anniversary, after the unveiling.
Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal rumors have been around for a while.
A handful of leaks from 2022 revealed early gameplay video featuring the game’s first-ever female protagonist.
At least two protagonists—one male and one female—will appear in the game.
It is also anticipated to be situated in a revised Vice City, which is partially modeled after Miami.
Take-Two Interactive recently made remarks about anticipated income sources that appeared to allude to the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in 2024.
Strauss Zelnick, the CEO and chairman of Take-Two, stated at the time, “We [Take-Two] remain confident that we are positioning our business for a significant inflection point in fiscal 2025, which we believe will include new record levels of operating performance.”
As of the report’s publication, Rockstar has refrained from commenting.
