New teaser purports that the game is a copy of Red Dead and GTA Online from Rockstar.

Another day, another controversy for The Day Before developer Fntastic.

The newly published “final trailer” for The Day Before is compared with trailers for other games, such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Cyberpunk 2077, and Red Dead Redemption 2, in a new YouTube video by user Randomly. It appears like the company plagiarized the trailers for other games.

You can hear the parallels in the language and voices throughout the video, which you can watch below.

“Welcome to the next generation of post-apocalyptic MMO open-world survival games like never before,” the video for The Day Before says at one point. Take a deep dive into The Day Before.

Then, without warning, the screen switched to a promo for Cyberpunk 2077, which said something along these lines: “Welcome to the next generation of open-world adventure.” Take a deep dive into Cyberpunk 2077.

The trailers for Grand Theft Auto V and The Day Before both state at another time in the film that they are attempting to “reimagine” open-world games.

Fntastic has been contacted by Insider Gaming for comment about the claims that The Day Before’s trailer is a duplicate of another trailer.

This item will be amended if and when a response is received.

On December 7, The Day Before is expected to launch in Early Access on Steam.

What are your thoughts on the claims that the trailers for The Day Before were stolen from other video games?

Do you believe it to be evident or is it only a coincidence?
